About UsThe Kruger homestead was established in 1981 with the purchase of the Ionia County, Michigan farm and six crossbred heifers. Dan and Paula continued to maintain a small but functional and good quality cow/calf operation. With the birth of three sons, Zachary, Noah and Jedidiah, the family farm was known as D-P Kruger and Sons.
Dan & Paula KrugerThrough the years our three sons and their families have continued to show a major interest in the farm and the cattle industry. In 2013 Dan’s sister, Linda, moved back to the area and rediscovered her passion for cattle. In December 2013, D-P Kruger and Sons along with Linda created Kruger Cattle Company. KCC’s first purchase was a set of foundation females from Griswold Cattle Company.
Progressively using high-end genetics of Simmental, Angus and Maine Anjou cattle enables KCC to stay on top of the ever changing demand of the cattle industry. KCC strives to produce functional real world cattle that also have the eye appeal to perform in the show ring. Key traits we look for in our cattle are, structure, feed efficiency, fleshing ability, calving ease, milking ability, eye appeal and disposition. Our goals are about quality not quantity. We would rather profit from one superior animal than four average animals. We are confident in our cattle program and pledge to stand behind our product.
Thank you for your interest in our cattle. We look forward to providing you with cattle that will help you achieve your goals.
